Built in 1967 as a multi-purpose stadium, Qualcomm Stadium is home to the San Diego Chargers, San Diego State Aztecs and also hosts the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl and San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. Concerts, Monster Jam, Supercross, international soccer matches and concerts are also held at Qualcomm Stadium during various times during the year.Qualcomm is surrounded by a huge parking lot, and tailgating is permitted and encouraged. Lots open at 6am for 1:00 Chargers games, and four hours prior to night games.
