Rally to Gillette Stadium
The home of the New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium is about a 40 minute drive south of Boston and seats 68,756. The stadium opened in 2002 and also hosts the New England Revolution of MLS.There is nothing near Gillette Stadium, and with only a few roads in and out, traffic can be pretty bad after games.The stadium is located between Boston and Providence, so it may be cheapest and most convenient to fly out of Providence Sunday night or stay stay there and fly out Monday morning.Gillette features a lighthouse and a bridge on the north side of the stands.Gillette is located in the center of a huge parking lot, so parking is plentiful around the stadium, and tailgating is a popular activity. Lots open four hours prior to game time. The parking fee is $25 for cars and $75 for RV's.
